An Amazing Power Peel!

ImageI took advantage of a rainy day and made a trip to Sephora to pick-up one of my favorite skin care products. Believe it or not, I’m not too picky when it comes to most of my skin care products and try new products often. However, there is one skin care product that I fell in love with – Ole Henrikson Power Peel. I first discovered this jewel while waiting in line at Sephora. As you make your way to the counter, you can’t help but glance at the the sample size items they have on display. I believe it is important to have a deep cleanse facial every month or two – whether at home or at a spa. When I saw this item, it definitely piqued my interest.

The Ole Henriksen Power Peel is a 3 step system. Step 1 is an almond polish scrub featuring oat kernel flour, bamboo stem powder and almond. After massaging it into your face and neck, it leaves your skin smooth and prepped for the next step. Step 2 is a lemon strip featuring lactic and glycolic acid combined with fruit acid. This gel formula is applied to the face and neck for two minutes. You can definitely feel this product working as it tingles and starts to make your face feel warm. Step 3 is a chamomile comfort which is applied on top of the lemon strip. The chamomile comfort contains evening primrose oils, chamomile and azulene comfort. After two minutes of the lemon strip, applying this product provides cooling relief and remains on for 15 minutes.

A “sample” pack contains two 3-step Power Peels for $18 – far less than you would pay for a spa facial (not that I’m opposed to a good spa facial!). During today’s shopping trip, I decided to splurge for the full-size Power Peel box – 6 sets for $45 (only $7.50 per treatment).

I highly recommend the Ole Henriksen Power Peel. Your face will feel amazing afterwards!

Until next time – stay beautiful! ~Devon
