Product Review: Fab First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish

As I’ve mentioned before, I shop at Sephora very often – I have the prestigious VIB (Very Important Beauty Insider) status to prove it! One of the benefits of the VIB program is the opportunity to exchange the points you’ve earned from purchases (one point for every dollar spent), for product samples. I love trying new products and Sephora always has a great selection of products samples to choose from. During my latest visit to Sephora, I decided to redeem 100 points and try a facial polish. It is so important to exfoliate (stay tuned for next Tuesday’s Tip about exfoliation) so I’m always interested in trying products that claim to do so. Here’s my review of the Fab First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Polish.

Facial Radiance Polish

Brand: Fab First Aid Beauty

Product: Facial Radiance Polish

Claim: Exfoliates, brightesn & purifies; safe for sensitive skin; allergy tested, fragrance free

Skin Type: All

Recommended Use: Daily

My Thoughts: The Facial Radiance Polish has a creamy base with tiny granules consisting of Shea Shell Nut Powder and Willow Bark Extract. I wasn’t crazy about the smell. The product states to be fragrance-free so the smell of the product is just that of the ingredients. For someone who can’t tolerate products with an added fragrance, this is a positive. Since this is a rub on, rinse off product, the smell is not that concerning and would not prevent me from using it. The Facial Radiance Polish left my face feeling very soft, with a little pinkness on the cheeks (which faded soon after) and no irritation. The sample size will likely last me a week or two and I plan to use it until it’s gone. At that time, I will decide whether to purchase it or continue looking for the perfect exfoliator.

Price: $24 (Sephora and Amazon.com)

Similar Products I Would Recommend: GrandCentral Beauty S.M.A.R.T. Skin Perfecting Polisher ($38; grandcentralbeauty.com/) or dr. brandt microdermabraision skin exfoliant ($78; sephora.com)

If you try the Facial Radiance Polish, let me know what you think.

Until next time, stay beautiful! ~Devon
